While Placing Your Order

I'm ordering as a business. Can I be exempt from VAT?

You can! Make an account and mail us your details, and we'll be able to exempt your account.

If you are placing an order as a business, and if your business has a VAT number registered with a Chamber of Commerce within the European Union, we are able to exempt your account from VAT due to the intra-Community supply rules.

Info: Is your business registered in the Netherlands? Then we are unable to exempt your account, and you'll still have to pay VAT. You can reclaim this VAT through your monthly or quarterly tax returns.

To get your account exempt, please create an account first at splitkb.com/account/register.

Then, mail us your company details. We'll need your VAT number and the address your company is registered at.

If you're sending an email from an address different from the address used to create your account, please also send us the account's email address as well so we can properly apply the exemption.

Invoices

Your VAT details will not show up on the invoice automatically. We recommend placing your VAT ID on the second address line, if available.

You're able to download your invoice through a link in your order confirmation mail, or through a link in your shipping confirmation mail.
