Do I need a wrist rest?
How should I use a wrist rest?
While they're commonly known as wrist rests, you should rather rest your palms on them instead. Resting your wrist can compress important nerves, which can damage them over time. Just to be sure, we're not medical experts, so please do consult with a medical professional if you're suffering from finger and/or wrist-related issues.
When do people usually get wrist rests?
We see them commonly used in combination with tenting, such as with a tenting puck and tripod, but people also use them with keyboards using MX switches. If you're not tenting your keyboard and are using Kailh Choc Low Profile switches, you may find that using wrist rests raises your hands too much.
What can I use as a wrist rest?
You'll want to use something soft that provides support. That includes the wrist rests available here, but you can also use a pair of socks or a small towel to test if it's something you might like.
Which cables do I need?
The cable which connects both halves of your keyboard to one another.
Can this keyboard be wireless?
It depends on your chosen keyboard.
