Elora Build Guide
We do not have a dedicated build guide for the Elora at this time.
For the Elora rev 1, please follow the following steps from the Aurora build guide:
- Switches
- OLED displays (optional)
- Case assembly
- Tenting puck (optional)
- Flashing firmware
Customising your firmware
If you'd like to compile your own firmware:
- The source code for Vial is located in the
elora
branch of our Vial fork - The source code for QMK is located in the
elora
branch of our QMK fork- Alternatively, there is a pull request pending approval to get it within the main branch of QMK, after which we'll be able to get it into the main branch of Vial, too.
The precompiled Vial firmware, available through our Firmware Finder, supports all Myriad modules natively without the need for programming. You may find that sufficient for your use.
OLED animations
The OLED_TIMEOUT
define is set to a value of 0
, in order to support the situation when a display is only used on the peripheral half of the keyboard. This may impact animations you'd like to add, as they can use this definition. You may change the value, but this may cause the display to stop working if you only use it on the peripheral half.
