Firmware - Myriad System
About the Myriad System
The Myriad System is a series of expansion cards for the Elora rev 1.
The Myriad system is a module system used by the Elora rev 1, which allows you to add to and change the functionality of your keyboard without having to solder.
The system is based on the use of M.2 cards, which can be slotted into your keyboard. We released a small number of modules, including a joystick, rotary encoder, macropad and a module with a QWIIC and VIK port.
The Myriad system is open for modification and addition, and has a template project and documentation available on Github.
Go to the Github repositoryThis project has been archived. While we released the Myriad System as well as the Elora rev 1 in 2023, we've quickly come to realise that it's rather hard to add the system to a new keyboard. The system requires the use of a large number of pins, requiring a custom matrix implementation, specific hardware, an adjusted testing framework among other parts. As such, we've decided to no longer add new modules to the system, and instead focus on the Halcyon project which was set up to supersede the Myriad system. I'd like to thank those who chose to support us early on, as it enabled us to improve our work and release something more future-proof and durable.
