About Split Keyboards - Changelogs
Aurora Sweep
See what changed and which issues we know of for the Aurora Sweep keyboard.
Nothing is perfect from the start, so we're constantly working on improving the design of our keyboards. Here you can find what changed from version to version for the Aurora Sweep PCB Kit.
Revision 1.0b
- Initial release
Known issues
- Battery terminals: The solder terminals to connect a battery are located underneath the top plate. While functional, the low clearance (0.7mm) between the top plate and PCB on Choc builds mean that there is a risk of shorting the two battery terminals when using metal plates. Apply non-conductive tape over the top of the battery solder joints after soldering to minimize the chance of this happening.
- Revision number: We forgot to update the revision silkscreen for the production run - this should've been "revision 1.0" without the "b"! This does not impact functionality, build as usual.
